www.goldentrading.co.uk

The Commission has recently become aware of the above website, which claims to represent the above entity.

The website contains no details of the alleged physical location of the above entity, however, the web address is registered in the name of the above organisation which falsely claims within the registration record to have an address of 16 Woodbourne Square, Onchan IM9 5DS United Kingdom. The postcode IM9 5DS is an Isle of Man postcode, however, there is no Woodbourne Square in Onchan, Isle of Man and, even if there were, the postcode would not relate to it. There is a Woodbourne Square in Douglas, Isle of Man, however, the alleged postcode is not valid for that address and the Commission is able to state categorically that there is no connection between the above entity and the genuine address 16, Woodbourne Square, Douglas, Isle of Man or with the genuine occupants of that address.

The aforementioned website speaks of activities purportedly undertaken by the above entity and which activities would require a licence if undertaken in or from the Isle of Man. The Commission is extremely concerned that the false registrant address details for the website could lead individuals to erroneously conclude that the above entity has a presence in the Isle of Man. It is a criminal offence on the Isle of Man to undertaking licensable activities in or from the Isle of Man without a licence or to hold out as doing so.

The above entity is not a company incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a business name on the Isle of Man.

The above entity is not licensed by us to undertake Investment or any other regulated activity in, on or from the Isle of Man.

A list of all institutions licensed by the Commission is available on our website at www.fsc.gov.im

The Commission has established no association between the above entity and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

The Commission has established no genuine links between the above entity and the Isle of Man. Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with the above entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.

Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with the above entity and have concerns should contact the Enforcement Division on +44 1624 689313 or by email to fsc@gov.im.
