Union Trust Securities / Westminster Finance
This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 22 of the Financial Supervision Act 1988.
The Commission has recently become aware of correspondence purporting to be from Union Trust Securities which claims to be a subsidiary of Westminster Finance London.
The correspondence falsely claims that the aforementioned Union Trust Securities has an address of Eagle Court, Circular Road, Isle of Man, IM98 IRB, England.
Enquiries carried out by the Commission have identified that there is an address of Eagle Court, Circular Road in Douglas, Isle of Man however we can state categorically that the genuine occupants of that address have no knowledge of or association with any Union Trust Securities or Westminster Finance London. The postcode IM98 IRB is not a valid Isle of Man one and is certainly not relevant to the alleged address.
The above entities are not companies incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. They are not registered as foreign companies having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. They are not registered as business names on the Isle of Man.
The above entities are not licensed by us to undertake any regulated activity in, on or from the Isle of Man.

The Financial Supervision Commission has established no association between the above entities and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with the above entities to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
