This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powersconferred upon it under Section 22 of the FinancialSupervision Act 1988.
The Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission has become aware of the above entity which purports to operate from an address in Jersey. Also, forms purporting to be application forms to open an International Account with the above entity contain an Isle of Man address of PO Box 12, Peveril Buildings, Peveril Square, Douglas, Isle of Man IM99 1SS.
The above entity was the subject of a statement issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission on 24 January 2008. That statement may be read online at:
The statement issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission advised that the above entity is carrying on or holding out that it is carrying on deposit-taking business and financial service business in Jersey, when it is not authorised to do, within the meaning of the applicable Jersey laws.
The physical Isle of Man address used on the application forms is occupied by the genuine Lloyds TSB Group of Companies. The genuine Lloyds TSB Group of Companies are in no way connected or associated with the above entity.
The above entity is not a company incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a business name on the Isle of Man.
The above entity is not, nor ever has been, licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission to undertake any regulated activities in, on or from the Isle of Man.

The Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission has established no association between the above entity and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with this entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
