The Commission has recently become aware of the above website which claims to represent the above entities.

The website states that “Apex Global Platinum Inc. is an international offshore payment center registered under Financial Supervision Commission with registration No. 052221G. IM1 1TA. Apex Global Platinum Inc is a wholly owned and a subsidiary of NATIONAL CITY BANK. Licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission to take deposits and make payments” sic.

The website also makes reference to the entities Global Platinum Securities Inc. and AGP ONLINE Worldwide within the context of Apex Global Platinum Inc.

The aforementioned entities are not licensed by the Commission to undertake any regulated activity in or from the Isle of Man. A list of all institutions licensed by the Commission is available.

The aforementioned entities are not companies incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. They are not registered as foreign companies having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. They are not registered as business names on the Isle of Man.

The number and letter sequence “IM1 1TA” is the Post Code of a genuine entity on the Isle of Man. However, this genuine entity is not connected in anyway with the above website nor with the aforementioned entities.

The Financial Supervision Commission has established no genuine association between the aforementioned entities and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with the above entities to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
