This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 30 of the Financial Services Act 2008.

Premium Remittance Online Bank

The Commission has recently become aware of a website which purports to represent an entity calling itself Premium Remittance Online Bank, falsely claiming to be using the address of 15 Bucks Road, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 3PZ.

The purported entity Premium Remittance Online Bank claims to offer a full range of online banking services.

The website seen by the Commission gives the telephone numbers +44-2033186011 and +44-7045731182 to contact the legal department of the purported entity. These numbers do not relate to lines in the Isle of Man.

The Commission wishes to draw attention to the following observations:

The address situated at the post code IM1 3PZ on Bucks Road, Douglas, Isle of Man is a genuine Isle of Man address. The genuine entity operating from that address have no connection whatsoever with the purported entity Premium Remittance Online Bank.

The Commission has established no association between the above entity and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

The Commission has established no genuine links between the above entity and the Isle of Man.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with this potentially fraudulent entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.

Under the circumstances, the Commission feels that any person accessing this fraudulent website may potentially become the victim of an Advanced Fee Fraud – see explanatory notice issued by the Commission at:
