The Commission has become aware of the website, http://barc-trust.com which purports to represent the company Barclay Trust International. The purported company Barclay Trust International hold themselves out as being an investment management company.

The purported company Barclay Trust International represent themselves as operating from the address, Clarendon House, Victoria Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 2LF. This is incorrect. The genuine occupiers of this address have no business relationship or connection whatsoever with the purported entity Barclay Trust International.

Barclay Trust International is not a company incorporated in the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business in the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a business name in the Isle of Man.

The Commission has established no association between the above entity and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

Under the circumstances the Financial Supervision Commission feels that this website is potentially being used to tempt the recipient into becoming the victim of an Advance Fee Fraud or victim of a Boiler Room Scam – see explanatory notice regarding Advanced Fee Frauds issued by the Commission at:

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with this entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
