Update to Regulatory Guidance – Fitness and Propriety and F&P1 Individual Questionnaire

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has published an updated version of the Regulatory Guidance – Fitness and Propriety document and F&P1 Individual Questionnaire

The update introduces a change to Section 8c concerning a change in the Authority’s approach to how we process Criminal record checks for notified and accepted Controlled Functions. The Authority now requires a copy of the certificate from the checking body to be submitted with the F&P1 Individual Questionnaire.

The change has been implemented to better align our approach with current practice, where the Authority already receives a copy of the criminal record check for R1 – individual controllers (F&P3).
