Pensions Governance Conference Q&A published

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority contributed to the 2025 Pensions Governance Conference in November hosted by Boal & Co. and sponsored by Finance IOM.

Representatives from the Authority delivered presentations to provide an insight into proposed legislative changes, ongoing supervisory priorities, and preparations for the 2026 MONEYVAL evaluation.

The content included an update on the recent consultation regarding the Retirement Benefits Schemes (Amendment) Bill, which is aimed at enhancing consumer protection and supporting a more risk-based approach to supervision.

Following the presentations, the Authority’s officers took part in an open question-and-answer panel session to respond to matters raised by members of the audience.
