FICON Limited (“FICON”)

This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 22 of the Financial Supervision Act 1988.

FICON is a company incorporated in the Isle of Man on 19 May 1998.

FICON may be an abbreviation for “Financial Consortium,” although the company was incorporated under the name FICON.

The Commission has been advised of at least one attempt by individuals purporting to represent FICON to arrange financing for other businesses seeking funding for business ventures. The funding agreements entail the payment in advance to FICON of substantial arrangement fees.

FICON was struck off from the Isle of Man Companies Registry on 25 March 2002 for failing to comply with the requirements of Isle of Man company law. As such, the company no longer exists as a legal entity, and it cannot legally enter into any business agreement. Any person claiming to represent the company does so without any legal authority or validity as a result.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would urge any persons considering entering into a business relationship with FICON to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the content of this Public Notice.

This Public Notice relates purely to FICON Limited incorporated on the Isle of Man, and does not relate to any company of a similar or identical name incorporated elsewhere.

Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with FICON and have concerns should contact the Enforcement Division on +44 1624 689312 or by email to fsc@gov.im
