Central Security Clearing System

This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 22 of the Financial Supervision Act 1988.

The Commission has recently become aware of emails purporting to originate from the above. The emails claim that the above entity has an address of “Central Security House, P.O. Box 19, Prospect Hill, Douglas, Isle of Man IM99 1AT, London, UK”. Research carried out by the Commission has identified that there is no “Central Security House” in Prospect Hill, Douglas. The above entity is not located at, nor has any connection with the genuine occupants of, the address known as P.O. Box 19, Prospect Hill, Douglas, Isle of Man IM99 1AT”. The postcode quoted is pertinent to “PO Box 19, Prospect Hill, Douglas, Isle of Man”. It is not pertinent to an address in “London, UK” The Isle of Man is not in London nor is it in the UK.

The above entity is not a company incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a business name on the Isle of Man.

The above entity is not, nor ever has been, licensed by the Financial Supervision Commission to undertake Banking, Investment or Corporate Service Provider business in or from the Island.

The Commission has established no genuine links between the above entity and the Isle of Man.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with the above entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
