Consortium Private Bank – 8-11 St George’s Street, Douglas, Isle of Man

The Financial Supervision Commission has become aware of the above websites which purport to represent the above entities.

The above entities are not incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. They are not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. They are not registered as a business names on the Isle of Man.

Within the above websites there is the claim that Consortium Private Bank and Construction Bank Limited are a wholly owned subsidiary of Nationwide Building Society with the address of PO Box 217, 5–11 St George’s Street, Douglas, Isle of Man.

There is a genuine Nationwide International Limited with the registered office address of 5-11 St George’s Street, Douglas, Isle of Man. The genuine Nationwide International Limited has no connection whatsoever with the purported Consortium Private Bank or Construction Bank Limited.

Details of all genuine licenceholders of the Commission are available on our website www.fsc.gov.im .

The Commission has established no association between the above entities and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with these entities to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice. Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with the above entities and have concerns should contact the Enforcement Division on +44 1624 689311 or by e-mail to fsc@gov.im. Any persons who have paid funds to the above entities should contact their local Police Fraud Unit without delay.

The Commission are aware that individuals continue to receive correspondence from the entity holding themselves out to be the Consortium Private Bank, also using the alternative address 8-16, St George’s Street, Douglas, Isle of Man.

Names of persons purporting to represent the ‘bank’ are;

An e-mail address of info@cpbpaydirect.co.uk is also used in correspondence. The Commission would reiterate that under the circumstances, we would strongly urge persons considering dealing with these entities to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.

Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with the above entities and have concerns should contact the Enforcement Division on +44 1624 689311 or by e-mail to fsc@gov.im.

Any persons who have paid funds to the above entities should contact their local Police Fraud Unit without delay.
