This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 30 of the Financial Services Act 2008

The Financial Supervision Commission has become aware of the above website.

The website claims to offer wealth management solutions for individuals over a range of financial products with unrealistic promised rates of return.

The majority of the website appears redundant except for the area of “Unique Financial Solutions”.

Text within the website states that, purportedly, “Athena VII is a private investment vehicle offering clients income generation. Athena VII is governed by Isle of Man law and shall be subject to the provisions of the law on Securitisation and the Law on Trusts and Fiduciary Contracts. Athena VII shall be managed by SD Consultants Ltd, registered in the Isle of Man”.

The Commission wish to make it clear that there is no private investment vehicle by the name of Athena VII being managed from the Isle of Man. Also, there is no company by the name of SD Consultants incorporated in the Isle of Man nor is there any such registered business name in the Isle of Man or foreign company of that name registered as having established a place of business in the Isle of Man.

A list of all institutions licensed by the Commission is available on our website at www.fsc.gov.im.

Details of all companies incorporated in the Isle of Man can be found at the website of the Isle of Man Government’s, Department of Economic Development at http://www.gov.im/ded/pvi/pvi_fr.html
