On 20 July 2011, the Commission published a public warning concerning a bogus website www.royalallianceuk.com and the entity Royal Alliance (UK) Group that was falsely claiming to have a place of business in the Isle of Man.

The Commission has now become aware of another website, www.royal-alliance.com which purports to represent the company Royal Alliance Capital. The purported company Royal Alliance Capital hold themselves out as offering an investment management and financial planning service. The layout of the website, telephone numbers used and individuals identified as representing Royal Alliance Capital are the same as on the previously identified website for Royal Alliance (UK) Group.

The purported company Royal Alliance Capital represent themselves as operating from the address, 22/24 Victoria Street, Douglas, Isle of Man. This is incorrect. The genuine occupiers of this address have no business relationship or connection whatsoever with the purported entity Royal Alliance Capital.

Royal Alliance Capital is not a company incorporated in the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a business name in the Isle of Man.

The Commission has established no association between the above entity and any genuine Isle of Man companies.

The Commission has established no genuine links between the above entity and the Isle of Man.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with these entities to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.

Any persons who have paid funds to the above entities should consider contacting their local Police Fraud Unit without delay.
