The Authority wishes to draw your attention to some amendments to the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Handbook (“AML/CFT Handbook”) and associated sector specific guidance documents. These documents are relevant to all businesses in the regulated sector as defined by Schedule 4 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2008 which are not otherwise subject to regulations issued in respect of the Insurance Act 2008 and Retirement Benefit Schemes Act 2000 or regulations issued by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.

The document and sector specific guidance have been updated due to the implementation of the Designated Businesses (Registration and Oversight) Act 2015 and also due to the creation of the Financial Services Authority . There have also been some minor amendments to wording made at this time. Please view the full list of changes.
