Designated Businesses (Registration & Oversight) Act 2015 – delegation of powers

On 29 October 2015 the Board agreed to delegate its powers of oversight under section 6 of the Designated Businesses (Registration & Oversight) Act 2015 (“the Act”) to the following professional bodies:

Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
Isle of Man Law Society
Institute of Financial Accountants
International Association of Bookkeepers
Institute of Certified Bookkeepers

Members of these bodies may elect to be overseen by their professional body under the Act by making an election at registration.
