Feedback to TCSPs - F.S.C

In August and September 2015, staff of the Financial Supervision Commission (‘the Commission’) gave presentations to trust and corporate service providers (“TCSPs”) about regulatory and other matters to when providing services to public companies. Two sessions were arranged by the Commission and a third was hosted by the Association of Corporate Service Providers.

The presentations covered two themes specific to public companies -

• Procedural and governance matters that TCSPs should consider when providing services to public companies

• Precautions against insider dealing, market abuse and market manipulation

The presentations also reviewed updated guidance to TCSPs regarding the provision of directorships and trusteeships, which was issued by the Commission in March 2015.
