Updated Privacy Policy

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (‘the Authority’) has today published an updated Privacy Policy (‘the Policy’) on its website explaining what information the Authority collects about individuals (‘personal data’), its reasons for doing so and how it holds, uses and discloses that information. The Policy explains what rights individuals have in relation to their personal data.

The purpose of the Policy is to inform all individuals who have dealings with the Authority how their personal data may be collected and processed in accordance with the Authority’s registration with the Isle of Man Information Commissioner under Isle of Man data protection legislation.

The Authority has updated all relevant forms on its website to refer to the updated Policy. The policies attached to the FRS (Financial Reporting System) and Designated Business websites have also been updated along with the associated declarations.

People interested in how the Authority collects and processes personal data are encouraged to read the Policy in the first instance and contact the Authority’s Data Protection Officer if they have any queries or concerns.

Any significant changes made to the Policy will be recorded at the bottom of the Privacy Policy webpage along with the date the change was made.
