Industry Update being held on 20 November 2018
The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority’s Industry Update is being held at the Villa Marina, Douglas on the morning of 20 November 2018, with Registration commencing at 8:30am and the Briefing from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
The Industry Update is a free event and is open to all regulated entities and designated businesses. The whole of the agenda will be relevant to regulated entities with some of the topics also of interest to the designated business community. The following are the main subjects to be covered:
- Industry Survey 2018 – findings and proposed actions
- The Authority’s Strategic Plan
- The Current Environment – key findings from the Authority’s work plus recent and imminent regulatory developments
- Future Developments – Revised supervisory approach and the Authority’s new IT system
The presentations will be led by staff from the Authority with contribution from external parties; there will be the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.
As space is limited, initially we are restricting the invite to a maximum of two individuals per entity. Depending on the level of take-up we may be able to relax this limit in due course and will advise accordingly.
