RVC Capital

The Authority has recently become aware of the website www.rvc-capital.com purporting to represent the business RVC Capital purportedly trading as Blackford Financial Services and claiming to operate from Isle of Man Business Centre, Circular Road lM1 1AG Office 4, Douglas – Isle of Man. As well as a number of other global addresses. The website offers a wide range of financial products and states that it has received “FSA certification- Financial Services Authority of the Isle of Man as a class investor 2”.

The Authority wishes to draw attention to the following observations:

The Authority has failed to establish any genuine association between the purported company, RVC Capital, and any genuine Isle of Man companies or businesses, including the genuine Blackford Financial Services Limited (a company which is authorised by the Authority to conduct class 2 - investment business)

The Isle of Man address quoted on the website does not appear to be a genuine address.

There is no company incorporated in the Isle of Man under the name of RVC Capital and it is not registered in the Isle of Man as a company incorporated elsewhere having established a place of business on the Isle of Man.

RVC Capital is not a registered business name in the Isle of Man.

A search of all genuine companies incorporated, and business names registered in the Isle of Man can be conducted at https://services.gov.im/ded/services/companiesregistry/companysearch.iom

To offer the financial services listed on the website “rvc-capital.com” in or from the Isle of Man would require a licence issued by the Authority. There is no licence holder in the Isle of Man named RVC Capital. A search of all entities licensed by the Authority can be found at:

Under the circumstances, the Authority is concerned that any person who has accessed the website “rvc-capital.com” may potentially become the victim of Fraud or it may be an attempt at gaining personal data from the recipient in order to steal their identity.

Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with the potentially fraudulent website “rvc-capital.com” should consider notifying their local Police, bringing to their attention the contents of this notice.
