New appointments to the Executive Team
The Authority is pleased to announce 2 new appointments to the Executive Team.
Ros Lynch
The Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Ros Lynch as Head of Supervisory Practices and Innovation Strategy. Ros joined the Authority in 2018 and her focus over the last three years has been on the development of our back office data system, Atlas as well as looking at the Authority’s overall approach to supervision with a goal to enhancing our practices. The addition of Innovation to Ros’ responsibilities reflects the continued importance of moving forward on the innovation agenda. Areas of consideration will include the tools available to our staff and collaboration with industry and other stakeholders to enhance our processes to address innovative regulatory opportunities. Ros will lead the Authority’s engagement with other agencies to advance our work in this area and will be assisted in this work by her team as well as our cross-divisional innovation working group.
Prior to joining the Authority Ros has worked for a number of Investment Firms and Stockbrokers and has held a number of senior risk and compliance roles in both the Isle of Man and Ireland. Ros also worked at the Central Bank of Ireland in the Securities and Markets Division.
Ron Dicks
The Authority is pleased to announce that Ron Dicks has joined the IOMFSA as the newly created role of Head of Fiduciaries effective July 8th, 2021. Ron has over 25 years international financial services experience working in the areas of fiduciary, pensions, investment banking and wealth management, including at the Board of Directors level. Ron worked more recently in the Isle of Man as a MD for a large corporate trust and service provider. We welcome Ron’s expertise to both our senior management table and in the supervision of regulated entities.
