Authority to support Family Library in 2023

A long-established Island charity is set to benefit from the fundraising efforts of members of staff at the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.

The Authority has chosen the Family Library as its Charity of the Year and is planning a number of events throughout 2023.

Money raised will help the Douglas-based organisation to continue offering a wide range of activities including family, school, home delivery and bibliotherapy services, as well as the mobile library.

The Family Library reaches all ages and sections of the community, supporting social inclusion, independence and learning in a fun way.

The Island’s financial regulator nominates a charity each year as part of its commitment to supporting worthy causes in the Isle of Man.

Colleagues at the Authority raise thousands of pounds via sponsored activities such as dress down days, raffles, bake sales, and the Santa Dash.

The Charity & Social Committee has made generous donations in recent years to Isle Listen, Remember Me, Hospice, and Macmillan Cancer Support.
