April 2024 update from the Financial Services Authority

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has issued its latest update for stakeholders.

The bulletin includes an introduction from CEO Bettina Roth, news about how we are supporting UCM to deliver a business administration/compliance course, the findings of the ORSA thematic review, and proposals to enhance the competitiveness of the Island’s insurance regulatory framework.

We also set out our plans to strengthen collaboration and engagement, highlight a new recorded webinar relating to introduced business, provide an update on progress regarding the Depositor Compensation Scheme, and explain how we are informing our picture of AML/CFT risk through thematic reviews of estate agents and moneylenders.

The bulletin can be viewed via this link.
